Explore how commercial lawyers help organisations navigate the legal and commercial challenges of Generative AI and emerging technologies.

Technology is transforming the way businesses operate. From Generative AI and automation tools to data analytics and digital platforms, organisations around the world are adopting emerging technologies to improve efficiency, drive innovation and enhance customer experiences. Alongside these opportunities, however, come new legal, regulatory and commercial challenges.

At Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, we advise some of the world’s leading organisations on the legal issues arising from the development, deployment and use of emerging technologies. Our lawyers work with clients across a wide range of sectors, helping them navigate complex questions relating to artificial intelligence, data protection, intellectual property, technology contracts, cybersecurity, digital regulation and technology-related disputes.

During this job simulation, you will support an Emerging Technology legal team as it advises a multinational organisation preparing to introduce Generative AI tools across its global operations. You will research emerging technology issues, identify legal and commercial risks, prepare client-facing documents and develop practical recommendations for business stakeholders.

This programme has been designed to give you insight into the work undertaken by lawyers advising clients in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. No prior knowledge of artificial intelligence or technology law is required. Instead, the simulation focuses on developing commercial awareness, legal analysis and communication skills that are valuable across a wide range of legal practice areas.

This program is self-paced. It takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete.

  • Preparing a Client Bulletin
Help NovaSphere understand Generative AI and the key legal considerations for its responsible adoption.

    • Client Communication
  • Assessing Legal Risks
