Internship in Pediatric Applied Behavior Analysis

About All Point Licensed Behavior Analysts, PLLC

All Points Licensed Behavior Analysts provides 1:1 and group applied behavior analytic (ABA) instruction to children with autism between the ages of 1.5 years to 8 years old. At All Points we are committed to providing our team members with high levels of training and support so that they may work effectively with children with autism. We value dedication to the delivery of effective instruction and, more generally, to the field applied behavior analysis. We offer a pathway for obtaining or maintaining the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential, and many other opportunities to learn and develop a robust behavior analytic repertoire.

Location & Hours

Our center is located at 60 Sharp Street, Unit 2, Hingham, MA. Our services are provided between the hours of 8:30am and 6:00pm, Monday – Friday. Internships are 10-12 hours per week during those days and times

Focus of Services

Our approach to instruction focuses on teaching language and other skills in the context of play and motivating activities and events. Our sessions with clients are 2-4 hours in length and alternate between play-based activities and shorter periods of more formal teacher directed instruction. Our goal is to identify clients’ strengths and use those strengths to help establish new, beneficial behaviors.

Intern Roles & Responsibilities

Throughout the 15 weeks semester, interns will learn about the diagnosis of autism, the conceptual framework for behavior analysis, effectiveness instructional practices, and data collection procedures and analysis. Interns will assist with session set-up, material organization, and data collection and summary. Following the completion of a HIPAA training course, interns will spend approximately half of weekly hours observing and assisting with sessions. The semester will culminate in the opportunity for students to take the national Registered Behavior Technician exam, earning the entry level credential in the field of behavior analysis. Students passing the exam and demonstrating high levels of professionalism and responsibility may then be considered for paid employment. Below is an outline of the 15-week semester agenda.
