About Us:
Bradley Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality behavioral health care for children and adolescents. As a Behavioral Health Specialist I, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for young patients in need.
What You’ll Do:
- Support children and adolescents as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
- Assist with daily routines, personal hygiene, and therapeutic activities
- Observe, document, and communicate patient behaviors and progress
- Maintain a safe and structured environment, following crisis management techniques
- Lead and participate in group therapy, social skills development, and recreational activities
- Work closely with nurses, therapists, and families to support patient care plans
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- Experience: 6 months – 1 year working with emotionally impaired youth required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in crisis situations
- Physical ability to assist in patient interventions when necessary
