Internships & Experiential Education

Westfield State University offers students up to 15 academic credits (an entire semester) for completing an internship – that’s how much we support students gaining real-world experiences.  We partner with many local and regional employers to offer internships year-round. We also work with The Washington Center Program, a highly prestigious internship program in D.C., to offer credit-bearing internships with the nation’s most exclusive employers.  Students also have the opportunity to spend a semester at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, and gain a competitive edge for employment with any Disney affiliate.  Westfield State University also has a rigorous study abroad program, biannual undergraduate research and creative activity conferences, and more to help students grow as professionals and individuals.

Check out our Experiential Education Report to see where our students intern.
